On this special day, praising with glee,
Of Shankara, whose life was a divine decree.
Caught by a crocodile in river's might,
He embraced Sanyasa, in wisdom's light.
Through lands he roamed, gyana he sought,
In Tarka Shastra, his brilliance wrought.
Five mutts he founded, like stars in the night,
Guiding souls towards truth, shining bright.
Though youth embraced him, death did engage,
His legacy, immortal, on history's page.
Adi Shankara, in hearts, forever walled,
On this auspicious day, his greatness is recalled.
